From Seattle to your wall — photography that never touched digital.

Art shot on film. Printed on maple.

Michael David Walrond (b. 1986) came to photography by accident — and never looked back. Born in Everett, Washington, he began his career at a creative agency in styling and set design, until a creative director handed him a camera and told him to make his own art. A year later, a fellow artist sold him a Canon AE-1, and film took hold. He has been shooting analog ever since, entirely self-taught.

His work lives in grain, light and shadow — intimate, atmospheric, unmistakably film. He has held solo exhibitions in San Diego and New York, shown in group exhibitions across the United States and Europe, and been published in Lomography, P Magazine, Osphilia, Others Magazine, Artizians Magazine and Supersonic Art. His monograph SHDWSOFDUST: A 7 Year Anthology of Analog Photography Work was released in 2023, and his work is represented on Artsy.

This collection brings that analog eye onto premium Canadian maple skateboard decks — real film photography, printed gallery-grade, made for walls that deserve something with soul.
