Guido Reni's Aurora Skateboard Wall Art - Premium Canadian Maple Deck
Guido Reni painted Aurora in 1614 as a ceiling fresco for the Casino Rospigliosi in Rome. It shows the goddess of dawn in a chariot preceding the sun god Apollo, scattering flowers as the Hours dance around them. The composition was copied and engraved widely throughout the 17th and 18th centuries and became one of the most recognised images of the Roman Baroque. The fresco remains in the Casino Rospigliosi in Rome, which is not normally open to the public.
